Animals and Lights

While is Chicago we visited Cosley Animal Farm. They have a bunch of lights up! Totally cute!

When we got back to Indy we went to Christmas at the Zoo. Totally fun, too! I recommend it if you live in Indy.
Tonight we will be ringing in the New Year with some close friends. We still have one more Christmas party to attend: The Mark Christmas party. And Bridget with be 3 months old tomorrow. I'm sure there will be more pictures to post soon.

Chicago Snow

Chicago got lots of snow while we were there. Here's Lil being pulled by Emily. Fun in the snow!

So while everyone was outside I decided to look through the pictures and that's when I realized we were lacking in the Bridget pictures, so I quickly took the one below!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning...Lily got that pink bike she had been asking for. Her face was priceless when she saw it. She left milk and cookies our for Santa. Santa actually left a cookie right outside her door with a huge bite out of it. If you come within a 30 foot radius of Lily, she will tell you the story of the cookie.

Checking out what Santa left in her stocking.

Playing with toys before we left for Bamma and Papa's. We travelled to Chicago and had a magnificent brunch with Bamma, Papa, Auntie Emily, Aunt CC, Uncle Nick, Rocky and Gizmo. Then we opened up presents. The night before Lily seemed a little overwhelmed opening presents. She was still overwhelmed in the morning, but caught on by the end.

Hanging out with Emmy.

Again Bridget, sorry no pics of you. You were asleep!

Pre-Christmas

Yikes, finally getting Christmas posted. The picture below is when we went to the Children's Museum. They have all this Christmas stuff up and you can meet Santa. Lily was not so impressed with the Holiday Wonderland and really just wanted to do what we always do when we go there.

Acting like a nut!
Christmas Eve! Above is what Katie and Uncle G got her! We had a great Christmas Eve. We went to my mom's and had a delicious lunch and opened gifts for the girls. We went downtown to mass at St. John's where Fr. Steve is. The church is gorgeous and it was fun to see Fr. Steve. We came back to our house where we put the girls to bed and had cocktails, appetizers, and dessert. We opened presents and ended up staying up until 1 AM.

Lily with her present from Uncle G.

So this is our only picture of Bridget on Christmas or Christmas Eve. I feel really bad. Is it second child syndrome? Bridget, if you ever read this post when you are older...Mommy and Daddy love you LOTS! We are sorry there are not as many pictures of you. You seem to be sleeping every time we want to take pictures!

It's Almost Christmas!

Tyler and I have TWO weeks off! This weekend we took a trip to Trader's Point Creamery. It was so fun!! In the barn they had crafts, booths selling all sorts of stuff, and Santa. There were bonfires and hot chocolate outside. We took a ride on their tractor around the property.
Bridget all bundled up!

Lily feeding the cows.
Unfortunately, it was a two hour wait for the restaurant. They use all stuff that is grown on the farm in it. We did bring some home some of their egg nog and chocolate milk and both are so delicious!!
Can't wait to do more fun things while Tyler is home!

Happenings of the Week

Last weekend we went to Disney on Ice. It was about 1 1/2 hours and Lily stayed pretty focused the whole time. She loved seeing Mickey and Goofy dressed as Santa.

Lily being a nut during the performance.
Watching Christmas movies with Dad.
We went to the Children's Museum this week with my friend Courtney and her son, Cooper. Lily and Cooper loved the water!

Bridget and I enjoying the museum.

This morning we had breakfast with Santa. Lily was able to tell him that she wanted a pink bike and candy. She was still a little too nervous to sit on his lap, though.

Hanging out with Nana and Grandad.

Seriously Santa, I am WAY too busy sleeping!
Today we finally got our Christmas tree and decorated it. Hopefully, I'll get pictures up soon. We are having some friends over tomorrow for dinner. Monday is our baking day if Lily and Bridget cooperate! Busy, busy, busy....but with so much fun stuff!
