SNOW DAY!

I seriously felt like a little kid in grade school when I saw Bishop Chatard roll across the screen! Tyler was in the shower and I lept out of bed to tell him the good news. Lily and I were excited to have Dad home for a whole day in the middle of the week! We plan on going to my parents who have a small hill in the backyard and go sledding. I'll post some pics later. First, Tyler has to shovel us out of our driveway. They saw we got around 12 inches!

Landing planes....

or playing with Dad's XBOX!

P.S. We went to the doctor on Friday. He said the binkie needs to go. Notice that in MANY pictures she has her binkie. She loves it!! This could get ugly.

Our Little Girly Girl!

Lily loves chapstick. I think her Auntie Emily is the one who taught her how to put it on. She seriously sat there for about 10 minutes just reapplying! She would get really excited and scream.

Chillin with Dad!

We had a relaxing weekend. Here's Lily reading the paper with Tyler! She loves to sit on the couch. She thinks she is a really big kid!

Snow!

Inside....
Outside....
Today we had our first significant amount of snow. Lily and I decided we should venture out and play in it. We actually spent more time dressing and undressing than playing outside. About 3 seconds after she was out, she fell and was pretty much done after that. I don't think that I've mentioned that she's full fledge WALKING now. But the snow, snow boots, and snow pants made it slightly more difficult.

Happy New Year!

Before the New Year was here, we got to hang out with our 2 favorite priests!!! We drove down to Fr. Steve's new parish, St. Barnabas, and continued driving to Jennings County to Fr. Meyer's two parishes. It's almost a 2 hour drive to see Fr. Meyer, but it is absolutely gorgous down there. St. Joe's is pretty much in the middle of cornfields, but it is beautiful. We'll have to go back in the spring and hike some of the trails in his backyard. We loved seeing the two of them and it definitely made us miss them even more at St. Luke.

We celebrated the new year with Sarah and Chris Sansone and Tim and Katie Healy and of course, their daughter Nora. Sarah and Chris hosted a murder mystery dinner. We had a blast and little Nora was even up at midnight to celebrate with us.
Other than that, we've just been hanging out, because we knew our break would be over quick. Yes, Tyler is back at work as I type. Our big project yesterday was taking down the Christmas decorations and lights. Tyler kept saying, "I'm so sad Christmas is over!" Surely, next year he will be able to make an even larger display of lights!
