Moments I Live For

It's 2 a.m. and I'm finally finished feeding Bridget and she has just dozed back off to sleep. I'm just beginning to doze off myself and hear a small voice call, "Mommy." My first thought, "Does it ever end?" I freeze in my bed, hoping Lily was just saying my name in her dreams. Then I hear her call me two more times. I crawl out of bed. It's cold. I should have turned the heat on last night. I slip into Lily's bed to see what's wrong. As I lay next to her, she wraps her arms around me and says, "I love you." She then rolls over and falls back to sleep. Totally worth being awake at 2 a.m.

Lily attended her second Prom and Bridget her first. We went to the St. Augustine's Prom again. The residents who live there LOVE to see little kids!!! Shakin' it with Dad! That looks like a dip.

Above are some pictures of when Thomas and Aunt Sarah were in town. We went to the Indians game. It was great to see them! Lily absolutely adores Thomas. Lately, we'll tell Lily we're going to do something like, "We're going to the grocery store today." And she'll respond, "Sounds like a plan, Stan!" She's a little mimic.

I can't believe I almost forgot this story! While Lily was hunting for easter eggs, she kept saying the Easter Leprechaun brought me another egg! ha! She's getting her holidays slightly mixed up.

Bridget's 6th Month pics

A 1/2 year old! Bridget is laid back little lady. Her sister can make her laugh harder than anyone else. She loves to snuggle and hates baby food. What a little blessing she is to have!

On Saturday Bishop Chatard had an Easter Egg hunt. Lily was freaked out by the Easter bunny, but enjoyed hunting for the eggs. They had all the fun games, too! Totally cute!

Happy 28th Birthday, Tyler!

Tyler's birthday was March 25th. I'm playing catch up once again. We missed it because he was in El Salvador. Lily was soooo excited to make him a cake when he got back.

Spring Break 2010

Working in a school gives us the luxury of having spring break. While most look forward to spring break with excitement, I was dreading spring break. Tyler was going to be gone the whole week in El Salvador for a mission trip. Seven nights by myself with both girls sounded slightly exhausting. Thank goodness for Nana! She booked us two rooms at the Abe Martin Lodge in Brown County State Park. They have an awesome little water park there! It was soooo fun!

Lily getting ready to go down the BIG slide. I couldn't believe she loved it so much!!! The first night we were there, the girls had finally fallen asleep and my mom and I were watching TV. While Lily was sleeping she was saying, "Water park, playground, Ashes, Ashes (from Ring Around the Rosy)." haha! Needless to say, she was rather excited to be at the water park.

Tyler's trip went really well. They were there to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Romero's death. Pretty cool!
