Bridget's First Haircut

Bridget's hair grew much faster than Lily's! Lately, she's totally been sporting the mullet, so I decided it was time for the trim. Lily went first, so she could see what it was like. I knew she would freak out! Finally, I just put her in my lap and she was totally fine! She just likes to be close to her Mama!

Way too busy to pose for a pic! This is all I could get of my big girl.
This is taken from my lap! She liked getting her hair dried the best.
Bridget has grown up so much lately. She has become a VERY fast walker and I feel like she has just begun to understand what is going on in the world around her. She knows what is going on. I am amazed daily about all the words she can say. She still like to follow her sister! There have been a few more tiffs lately. She even tells me when her diapers are wet. I still think I will have 3 in diapers, though.

Hibernation

Winter has definitely gotten the best of me. We've had more snow and ice than usual, so it's made it difficult to get out. Plus, these 2 babes have definitely slowed me down. Tyler took a group of students to El Salvador in February. Bamma and Papa came to visit while he was gone. Other than that, we haven't been doing too much. We did throw a wedding shower for Gregory and Katie! Can't wait for June! And one of my very good friends, Jamie, got engaged! Yeah!

At the Children's Museum!

Just dancing!
Can't wait for the spring weather.

Godfather of the Year!

I have the BEST godfather in the world! For my birthday he told me he would re-do one room in our house. Seriously, what godfather offers to do that. We had always wanted to update the kids bathroom, but wasn't quite sure if that project would be too big. It was ugly and it had no shower head, just a tub. Check out the before....

Cool wallpaper, right?

Did he not do the most amazing job ever?!?! Love the tile and the lighting is amazing! Of course...monkey themed! The new vanity actually has drawers! The new toilet is tucked behind the shower wall.

Check out that tub and shower! All these pictures don't even do it full justice. The plumbing is totally different, too.

Love my new storage cabinet above the toilet! He did this all in a week! I still can't believe it! Thanks UB! We're ready for four kids to use this bathroom. :)

In honor of Ash Wednesday

Lily and Bridget are sitting in a laundry basket right now eating goldfish. Lily put one in Bridget's mouth like it was communion and said, "Christ the King, thanks for God." More posts to come since I've taken quite the break. Who knew growing twins was so exhausting?
